Case of 12 Sets of Factory-Certified Purifan PA2 Smoke and Odor Filters. Purifan PA2 Smoke and Odor Filters have five layers of filter media. In addition to the 2 layers of media that contain activated charcoal, we add an additional 1/4 inch layer of activated charcoal saturated with a mixture of potasium permanganate and alumina. This layer helps to absorb more odors and chemicals from cigareette smsoke, urine, pet odors and many other types of undesirable odors. Each filter set contains five segments of filters for installation in one Purifan Air Purifier. Disposable media and should be changed ever 3 to 6 months in a heavy smoking or high odor level facility like pet store or nursing home.
